Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship

The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship encourages undergraduate women to enter careers and seek leadership positions in business management.

The international award was established from a bequest by Jane M. Klausman. Jane was a member of the Zonta Club of Syracuse, New York and the 1990-1995 Zonta International Parliamentarian.

Who is Eligible?

Women pursuing undergraduate business studies who demonstrate outstanding potential in the field are eligible to apply. Applicants must have completed two to three years in an accredited undergraduate program and exhibit outstanding academic credentials. More…

The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship Program operates at the Club, District, and International levels of Zonta International. To apply, please contact our scholarship chairperson. Applicants must be nominated by their local Zonta Club.

Young Women in Public Affairs (YWPA) Awards Program

The Young Women in Public Affairs Awards (YWPA) Program recognizes pre-university or pre-college women students' commitment to the volunteer sector, volunteer leadership achievements and dedication to the advancement of the status of women and thus encourages more women students to enter careers in public policy and community organizations. Since 1990, 311 awards have been made to young women in 35 countries.

Who is Eligible?

Women who are pre-university or pre-college students (16 – 20) who demonstrate a commitment to volunteerism that supports advancing the status of women are eligible to apply. More…
